Ariadne’s Thread: A Workbook of Goddess Magic

Ariadne’s Thread: A Workbook of Goddess Magic

Using the figure of the ancient goddess Ariadne as a metaphor, Mountainwater unravels the mysteries of a woman-centered spirituality. She offers gentle guidance through the cycles of a woman’s life; the phases of the moon; the yearly nature holidays; and the aspects of divination. She concludes each chapter with suggested exercises, meditations, and reading lists. Her capably organized and well-written book encourages women to find their own spiritual path. The reading lists lack complete citations; still, a very good, practical book on women’s spirituality and goddess worship. Recommended.

    Hello my friends :)
Ariadne’s Thread is an amazing book.
It’s sad that Shekhinah Moutainwater didn’t write more before passing away.
Have you read any of her other books?
I’d like to know which one to read next ;)

This book sounds interesting…I wonder about good fiction books that are also educational about Goddesses and mythology. Any suggestions?

Can you tell me the dates of Shekhinah Mountainwater’s birth and death? Year only OK dont need month and day.

Would like to remember her in the next Lunar Calendar.

    Thanks!

    Yours,

Shekhinah Mountainwater’s radically inspiring life story began in 1939. Her reported last words were “It’s better now.” (August 11 2007).

I have recently developed an interest in astrology and the phases of the moon – I think that around the time of the full moon I feel really strange. I am interested in it for fun but also curious to know how I can deal with it and prepare my mind and body for the monthly full moon. Can anyone reccommend any good beginner books or give me soome advice on how to cope – some months I really do feel like I am going bonkeer!! : 0

Nothing seems to be easier than seeing someone whom you can help but not helping.
I suggest we start giving it a try. Give love to the ones that need it.
    God will appreciate it.
