“I believe that only when the last drop of oil has been drilled from beneath the surface will man truly start searching for alternative fuels. And only when some major disaster (earthquake, volcanic eruption, landslide, tidal wave, &/or massive sinkhole) is directly linked to our oil-drilling will mankind even ponder whether or not the oil being under earth’s surface serves a purpose in nature. Of course it is probably already too late, we burn up the oil as fast as it can be pumped, so even if the survival of the entire planet depended on it, the oil can never be replaced.”
